Civic life embodies involvement and participation. An active citizen consistently cares for their immediate environment and engages in public processes. In this way, a culture of local governance and citizenship is formed.

“Sabado” hosts a role-playing game that acquaints participants with the culture of local governance and citizenship, supports the development of an active citizen, and contributes to improving their community and better organizing their living environment.

Participants in the program will conceptualize an imaginary local government, work on a budget, identify their own public priorities, and take responsibility for transforming their community.
